Mine is one I got from a cousin that was on BellSouth, I believe.
Installing the software from the disk set everything up for PPPoA.. I
wound up going through the config and changing values one at a time until I
finally came across the one that enabled PPPoE (correctly) on it.
The only reasons I messed with trying to figure out the thing in the first
place was I had no backup modem for just in case, I was bored stupid, and
gosh darn it, I was going to get the dern thing to work if it was the last
thing I ever did. ^_^
