Hi there
I am using pptpclient 1.3.1 on FreeBSD 5.2 to establish a PPTP
connection. The output of ifconfig tells me that i have been
successfull in doing that:
tun0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1498
inet 192.168.2.3 --> 192.168.2.1 netmask 0xffffffff
Opened by PID 1158
The following entry has been added automatically to the routing table:
192.168.2.1 192.168.2.3 UH 0 21 tun0
Because I could not ping neither 192.168.2.3 nor 192.168.2.1 I added
one more route to the routing table:
192.168.2 tun0 US 0 34 tun0
Now I can ping 192.168.2.3 but 192.168.2.1 still does not give any
reply. What else I need to do in order to reach 192.168.2.1?
I have searched Google to find an answere but with no success. I hope
that anyone can give me a hint.
Thanks, Daniel
