Ah, I am not alone :)

I have a pair of EPIA based systems that have exactly the same problem.
They work fine with 4.7 (the last install I had on them), or with
5.2.1 booting from Compact Flash (the boards I've got have a built in
CF-IDE adapter).

However if I try to run 5.2.1 on any hard disk, it fails with the same
errors you specify. I never went any further as it wasn't high on my
list of priorities. There have been a lot of fixes since 5.2.1 relating
to IDE so it's possible that it'll work with -CURRENT.

I'd suggest you drop details to the freebsd-current list. If I get a
chance I'll add to your postings with my own details.

So they're like you?	No, zombies are slow, dim-witted,
