Thanks for your assessment. I am by no means a hacker, just a serious
user on the desktop. Having no particular affinity for licensing issues,
I was wondering if it was simply better. Your answer tells me, "Not yet."
Can anyone tell me if the latest version of XFree86 is worth the trouble?
