Steve,
I'm kind of short on time (I've got about 1 month to get this web
server online), so I went ahead and set up a RAID1 array per your
previous instructions (i.e., using atacontrol instead of the SIL680
controller's RAID functions). After a couple of confusing
false-starts, both drives appear to be working as a single RAID1 array
(ad0). Problem 1 solved...Thank you!

Ultimately, I need to configure the following services:
httpd
mail
ssh (optional, but it would be nice to know that I can check on things
if I'm traveling)
DNS (optional, but I'd

Can I ask a few more questions?
1) Can I [safely] run all of these services on one PC?

2) Which version of apache is best in terms of security--1.3 or 2.0?
"The Complete FreeBSD" book (which is confusing me about as much as
it's helping) recommends 1.3, but apache recommends 2.0.

3) How do I install apache from the FreeBSD 4.10 CD without installing
the entire Packages section (I don't see it listed in any of the
Package sections)?
I understand that I should install only the minimum components to run
the web server, but unless I install the entire group of Packages on
the FreeBSD CD, I can't seem to find a way to install apache by itself
(it isn't listed in the Packages section on the FreeBSD CD).
