Hi,
I read thru some articles in the web, and found a solution that turning
off ata in the device.hints may be able to tempoary fix the problem.
The problem is:
I built 5.2 Current yesterday, but after a reboot, it hang at the
following lines:
...
...
Aug 17 20:08:27 fbsd kernel: IPsec: Initialized Security Association
Processing.
Aug 17 20:08:27 fbsd kernel: ad0: 38166MB <WDC WD400BB-32DKA0/77.07W77>
[77545/16/63] at ata0-master PIO4
Aug 17 20:08:27 fbsd kernel: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a
After waited about 10 minutes, I think it's dead, so press a reset
button to reboot the system into Safe mode.
Any suggestion?
thanks
sam
