I've talked with some of IBM's support, based in Ireland, and other companies
that had support out of Canada had excelent experiences. i guess my real gripe
is these companies are moving there support team to countries where the average
person doesn't even own a computer, much less know how to support anything
related to it, and to top it off you can't hardly understand them when they are
reading off of their flow charts.
so.. i guess it boils down to the native language of the person most likely
/does/ indicate their level of experience (or lack there of) in a particular field.
not that there aren't computer savy Indian speaking people of course, they just
probably aren't still living in India making roughly $3/hr doing phone support
for cheap-skate American companies.
