This is the nightmare that probably happened to someone before. After
succeeding in booting into KDE, I decided to get xdm running automatically.
So I turned it on in /etc/ttys (I think that's what it's called). Anyhow I
created an .xsession file to invoke KDE but forgot to make it executable, so
now there's no way to get past xdm.
I expect to make another installation of FreeBSD on this computer within a
few days, and I can mount the old one from the new installation if I want to
get into it again. But is there another way to do it not involving another
FreeBSD installation? (What am I doing right now? Using Windows.)
