Well, not an Actual MS-Word File, but one that it can read can be done so

The second of those will takes ages to build :-)
They both will do all sorts of MS-Word .DOC flavours as well as .RTF. You
could also confuse your Word-only colleague by sending a .PDF ....

You could use txt2tex and tex2rtf if those still exist.
