GMailFS uses FUSE (http://fuse.sourceforge.net/). On the FUSE web page
it says that you don't need to recompile the kernel. However, it also
says that FUSE is a kernel module, so I guess it won't work.

Both GMailFS and libgmail are written in Python, so any Python buffs
out there could try to adapt it for FreeBSD.

The OP could always try Filebunker (http://filebunker.sourceforge.net/)
it might for work him.
