The artical in the hyperlink doesn't talk about adding an internet
connector, but think it needs one. After creating internet
connector(stmp) windows 2000 server says you need to stop and restart
internet mail. the problem is internet mail won't start. Gives this
error messages -
Could not start ms internet mailservice on local computer. The service
did not return an error. This could be an internal windows error or in
internal service error. If the problem persists contact your admin.
The configuration here is the FBSD box is the mx for the domain. It
does pop/imap and smtp. The users are configured to pop/imap from the
FBSD box and outbound smtp is configured for the FBSD box.
The problem is the internal client systems. We have win2000, winxp and
mac o/s 9.x . The mac users can't get internal mail. Mail from the
internet works fine for all three setups.
What I need exchange to do is forward any internal mail to these
specific users or groups(everyone).
I don't know a lot about exchange other then it crashes a lot.
