This heavily depends on a) how you want your data, what kind of data,
how often you want it gathered, and more of that kind of parameters, and
b) taste.
For example, tttview can give you neat (near) real time graphs over the
last N minutes split out over ips and ports, but it won't give you the
historical overview graphs that MRTG is good at. Maybe its gatherer can
be modified to feed into RRDtool, but I haven't looked at that.
