I have seen several messages pointing to the indication that ipf
may have a bug causing crashes. I have myself seen one crash on a machine
running ipf, and no crash on an other one running pf. This is of course
no proof, but i would rather run pf at present since it works so well
and does almost everything needed (almost because some people complain about
the ftp proxy). As regards ipfw i don't like it at all, other people
think it is the best thing since sliced bread. At least you have
choice ... if choice is a good thing.
