Re: ja_JP.UTF8 in /usr/share/locale

Answering myself in case this turns up in a desperate search :)

I noticed the Chinese UTF-8 had the same problem, English dates. Cause me
to see that it was a UTF-8 isue, not Japanese itself.

Found the answer by trial and error:

Remove all ja_JP.UTF-8 related directories and symlinks in
/usr/share/locale and /usr/local/share/locale

cd /usr/ports/misc/utf8locale

make install

Now working!
