My father taught me well that if it ain't broken, don't fix it!
If you have the above configuration done, it does all what you need and
it does that the way you wanted, then you have no reason to change.

Many people move to postfix (or another alternative) because they had
problems with sendmail in the past, because they don't trust it, because
they don't like it, because they are more used to something else,
because they couldn't get something done with senmail which they managed
to do under something else, because of sendmail performance issues under
larger loads, because of the lack of a certain feature, and probably
other similar reasons.

I personally have a more simple reason. I find the postfix way of
configurations more appealing and less difficult to learn/understand/do.
So far I didn't really need to do much mail related configuration, so
the default solution of sendmail was totally fine. Now that I want quite
many mail related things to set-up/configure, I will have a lot of work
with it. Learning and understanding how to do it, as well as actually
doing it seems more human friendly for postfix than it is for sendmail.

You seem to have everything done with sendmail. Unless you have problems
(performance, security, etc) I don't see a point why should switch.

I on the other hand have nothing yet, so for me it doesn't really matter
which one I start to do things with. Then why not go for the one which I
find to be more friendly.
I am actually not switching from one to another. I merely pick postfix
to start with.
