I get the error below when trying to do a "make install" on the kde3
port. It says I'm missing dpstk. The only dpstk I have installed is.

/usr/compat/linux/usr/X11R6/lib/libdpstk.so.1
/usr/compat/linux/usr/X11R6/lib/libdpstk.so.1.0

What port am I missing? Or is the problem something obvious I'm not
seeing?

Stop in /usr/ports/editors/koffice-kde3.

Might have something to do with this, from /usr/ports/UPDATING:

20060126:
AFFECTS: ports that use Display Postscript libraries and xorg-libraries
AUTHOR: x11@xxxxxxxxxxx

Support for Display Postscript has been deprecated in X.Org 6.9 release
and libraries and tools are no longer installed by default. If you have
installed a port that complains about missing libdpstk or libpsres, you
need to reinstall it so it will be build without DPS support.

Certainly the same error I'm getting. What do you suggest reinstallng? KDE was not installed before. This is a new install on a system that I'd
just cvsuped. Right now I've done a portupgrade -a and make distclean,
make and now doing a make install on kde3 again.

Not sure, but you may have caught the ports tree in transition. Try cvsuping again, and see what happens. You may have to remove any kde parts the earlier build installed before-hand, though.
