After replacing brokenby2703@xxxxxxxxx with a small shell script on
Monday 17 Jul 2006 12:23, the following appeared on stdout:
I did try both ATACONTROL RAID 1 and GMIRROR software raid solution
and let's say that GMIRROR seems "more"... more.... well, just one
step above atacontrol as reliability (imho).

The auto-rebuild is reason to use gmirror on its own. I have used both
and find gmirror to be logical and reliable - not that ataraid isn't,
but gmirror just has the edge in terms of features and reliability.
