Spot on as always, jpd. What irked me was the fact that Giorgos seems to
be genuinely knowledgeable; his time would be far better spent helping
someone who really has a problem rather than being led around by the
nose by Sam. The snippet of KERNCONF Sam posted at first shows he knew
where to look. The second posting showed he either hadn't looked at all
or had deliberately ignored the fact that IPFILTER != IPFIREWALL.

If Giorgos does look at Sam's posting history, he'll find discussions
(usually Sam talking to himself) on C programming, hardware and a
multitude of other topics. Does this really look like the posting
history of someone who can't understand the simplest and best
documented kernel configuration file format (IMHO) in the *nix world?

I apologise to Giorgos for any annoyance caused and will make this my
last post on the matter.
