That did sort of fly past my head at mach 5 until you pointed it out. I
really should pay more attention to who does what.

This being said, answers to posts are read non only by the one asking
the question, but by other parties who may find interesting clues in
such answers even if a troll has sollicited them. When a FreeBSD
committer or a core member answers a question, one may frequently
learn something from his comment.

Good point, Michel, although in this case the problem was so obvious
from the second posting that it would have taken an inordinate amount
of ignorance for anyone even marginally familiar with KERNCONFs to
miss. That doesn't excuse my rash behaviour [1], of course, but I do
offer it as mitigating circumstances. When the question contains the
answer, it's hard to bite one's virtual tongue.

[1] Which it was. I posted without putting it into drafts and waiting
until I'd had a pint of tea and a smoke before revisiting it and
deciding whether it was really something I should be posting to a group
like cubfm. Which it wasn't. At that point, I was stuck defending my
position. Silly, reckless and negligent for which I apologise.
