That did sort of fly past my head at mach 5 until you pointed it out. I
really should pay more attention to who does what.

If regular committers and so on hang out here often enough it'll
soon be clear enough. :-)

It's always cool if core members, maintainers, and well, most everyone
else with a clue or two flies by. Then again, flying by is different
from hanging out, and that does show, now and then.

[and now for something not entirely different]
This being said, answers to posts are read non only by the one asking
the question, but by other parties who may find interesting clues in
such answers even if a troll has sollicited them.

I'd still rather pay attention to questions and/or answers that look
like they're readworthy. To me, Sam's posts clearly fail that test.

Hiding really smart and noteworthy comments in threads that are
otherwise full of inane chatter or people wanting the manual to be
spelled out to them in the group (again) is not the most efficient way
to reach a wider audience.

In fact, I followed up exactly because Giorgos seemed to completely miss
the who's who in the thread, up to apparently thinking that Chronos were
Sam. That is usually rather hard to explain yourself, so I stepped in.

Anyhow, tea and cookies or beer or so sounds like a good idea. An
impromptu Berlin meeting, anyone?
