Does anyone have a CUPS driver for the HP LaserJet 2015dtn?
Google seems not to know about one. If not, is there another
driver close enough that it might work?

Forgot to mention: of course it will work with about any PostScript
driver except for special features of the printer.

Duplex might be a problem; I don't know what CUPS does for that.

I have a duplex printer, CUPS does everything necessary to cope with
that, provided that you have the ppd file. In fact all the special
behavior is encoded in the ppd file, and CUPS will happily use the
peculiarities in the ppd file. For example my printer can do A4, A5,
simplex, duplex, etc. I can control all that from the KDE printmanager
through CUPS. This is exactly one of the reasons why CUPS is far
ahead of the standard lpd spooler in terms of functionality. Other
reasons being automatic network discovery, support of printers using
ipp protocol, interoperability with Windows and Mac stuff, etc.

when i had tried to configure CUPS (admittedly, this was years ago),
i found it _extremely_ difficult to understand the instructions,
and after several unsuccessful attempts, i went back to lpd, which
i have always thought was simple to configure. using apsfilter
makes it even that much easier. i have been aware, however, that
the "everything is a postscript printer" model does come with
the cost of lost functionality, and i have never been satisfied
with the print quality.

your reply has motivated me to try CUPS again, although i doubt
i'll be using KDE printmanager any time soon...
