I suspect you'd be better off adding a second disk and installing
FreeBSD on it. That way your existing installation will remain up,
while you learn about FreeBSD on the second disk. It might be wise
to _unplug_ your existing disk while you explore FreeBSD initially.

I am not new to FreeBSD. I now have 2 pcs that I can use. I am unable to use BSD on the other computer, because of compatibility issues.
