before I buy..... fbsd on J7F4 mobo: go or no-go?

More or less as subject: J7F4 has a via c7 eden processor, cn700 chipset. Is this likely to work or not? (I note one or two problems reported with fbsd running under vmware on such a system, I don't know if this is relevant or not.)
