Sounds like overkill. What's your bloody printer that can't work in
FreeBSD? Cups/Gutenprint supports a lot of printers. And printers are
cheap these days. Unless your present printer is something really
special it might be better use of your time to simply unload it on
someone who can use it and buy a supported printer to replace it.
