Try a pure ftp and see if that works.
I can not use a ftp client. The only way I can access the file to download is through a web browser (I have to authenticate and use cookies to access the file).
Again, this has nothing to do with the filesystem ... just that both links and lynx fail to download the file and will show an error at some stage.
lynx after downloading 2GB will tell me that the file system is full (even though it isn't)
and links stops with an error "HTTP bad request"
I managed to download the file with Firefox but that was very painful...
I was just wondering if a text-based web browser was available on FreeBSD without file limit issue
