<newbie> FreeBSD only boots to text display

I am new to BSD and thought that I had completed my first install but upon the final reboot the system boots to a text display instead of the Gnome desktop that I thought that I had chosen during the install. Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?

Thanks
