pkg_add pkg_delete tripping over each other on 7.0?

I'm new to FreeBSD. I've installed 7.0 on my Sparc U30. I'm going
through the handbook trying things. I've done virtually nothing to
tweak the build environment in any way. I'm still learning.

The warning about libXfont is spurious. Why's it trying to install
1.2.13_5 over 2.3.0? What am I doing wrong here?

I also have trouble with /usr/ports. Some things (xlockmore) build
and run fine. Others that came with the CD and ports I've built just
dump core (firefox).
