I've installed FreeBSD stable on this new laptop (Toshiba Satellite
L305-S5939, dual core centrino, Intel graphics & sound).
After building, X -configure produces a configuration file that gives me
a working X server (it appears), but no mouse or keyboard. If I use
startx or xdm, I get the expected windows, but still no mouse or
keyboard.
The mouse is enabled in rc.conf,

Here we go again . . .
I've installed FreeBSD stable on this new laptop (Toshiba Satellite
L305-S5939, dual core centrino, Intel graphics & sound).
After building, X -configure produces a configuration file that gives me
a working X server (it appears), but no mouse or keyboard. If I use
startx or xdm, I get the expected windows, but still no mouse or
keyboard.
The mouse is enabled in rc.conf, and I've added the AllowEmptyInput to
the ServerLayout.
I also rebuilt xf86-input-keyboard and -mouse, pursuant to other past
suggestions.
I still only have a nonresponsive server.
My xorg.conf follows.

Sorry to say dont expect to much out of FreeBSD when it comes to USB
support. Until 8.0 is out.
Any ways more info is needed:
Is this a USB keyboard/mouse
What brands
etc..
