Re: /var/db/pkgdb (somehow) out of sync with /usr/ports (FreeBSD 7.2)
Okay,I solved it this way:
* removed everything underneath /usr/ports/*
(my theory: ports tree was somehow magled, because I installed it
initially from DVD and then did "portsnap fetch extract")
* portsnap fetch extract
Now, I tried installation again:
# portinstall -p firefox35
=> this did not work (why?!)
But this worked:
# portinstall -p www/firefox35
One more time I have to admit that FreeBSD is somehow strange...
