Re: problems with 8.1 [was Re:focus poorer in 8.1?]


Well, I built 8.1 with no CFLAGS but this is actually worse
than before. Still the no sound from headphone jack issue
and the no cursor control in X issue, and now also no keyboard
in X. Looks like it may be a hal issue. Updating all ports showed
no improvement.

Anyway, /dev/sndstat in 8.1 is:

I've always used an xorg.conf on this machine, due to my desire to use
max screen resolution (1440x900) which X doesn't autodetect on this box.
I'd've posted it as well had I remembered to copy it to the flash drive
before rebooting into OS X...
