Good advice. Actually, I wasn't aware I used a development version!
(I hope that doesn't say to much about my succes propability)

That's also a good advice. I'll try it as soon as i have the
possibility. If it doesn't work, I found two other ways:
a) upgrade to a newer cdrecord with dao support and hope I can
use it for my needs.
b) try out "bchunk" and see if I can create an ISO image to
burn later with cdrecord.
Thank you for your reply. I guess I've got some upgrading to do in
either way. :-)
