I am trying to install NetBSD 1.5.2 on a notebook (Toshiba T4600C) with an
greater harddisk than original (200mb -> 770 mb). Now I've got a problem
with the BIOS (BIOS said 770mb, all OSs said 273 MB). So I installed the
OnTrack DiskManager which is called 'Seagate DiskManager 9.56A' I loaded
from net.
Then DOS worked fine, Windows NT 3.51 worked fine.
But now I'm installing NetBSD and I can't partition my disk.
Sysinst says that there is a partition with 777 MB, if I boot through the
Diskmanager.
If I boot through the BIOS, sysinst says that the harddisk has 273 MB, but
if I'm creating a partition to the end of the disk, the partition has 770MB.
And if I'm writing the partitions to the disk, no changes were made.
So I'm asking whether someone has done this before.
Btw: I have uninstalled the diskmanager, now it works, but I can only use
273mb - that not enough.
