Hi!
I need some feedback on this issue before opening a problem report:
NetBSD 1.6.1 has a problem with hyphenation in XFree86 man pages.
On those pages, the hyphen mark (-) has been replaced with an space.
Some examples:
xmd(1) - Proto col, typi cally, termi nation, dis play, and so on...
xdpyinfo(1) - signifi cant, dis played,
extension Name -> extension-name (from the synopsis)
Where should this problem be fixed? Is it a wrong option provided
to troff when building the cat* entries? Perhaps a wrong template
used to write all those man pages?
Worst of all, this behaviour sometimes breaks the entries in the
databases managed by catman too...
Cheers,
Igor.
