    DNS mask? Hmm. When asked for your nameserver you need to give the
    numerical IP address of your nameserver(DNS), not a mask. The address
    of your nameserver is given to you by your ISP, either when you sign
    up, or (maybe) automatically using DHCP each time your cable modem is
    powered on. If it's the latter then perhaps you can say yes to the
    'configure using DHCP' option in the network configuration step,
    if your router supports it.
