ThinkPad 380Z+NetBSD1.6.1. Serial port mixup!

    Hi all, would love to clear up this issue, as the serial port is
    required...

    Laptop is an old IBM Thinkpad 380Z. Has the following:
    IR port on IRQ4
    Serial port on IRQ3 (COM2 in DOS)

    NetBSD GENERIC for laptops installs beautifully. X configured, USB and
    touchpad mice both work, etc.

    However, the kernel loads the IR port as com0, but can't see the
    serial port. Later on, pcic uses IRQ3 for sockets (????). I can
    see no BIOS settings that would help (BIOS is latest version).

    dmesg and uname below. Hope someone can help.
