    Hey,

I'm giving some serious thought in to moving most of my machines from
Linux to some variant of BSD. I've heard that support for Java is very
broken under NetBSD due to licencing issues from Sun (appreciate this is
not a fault of the project).

How big a problem am I likely to face in trying to use Java (both
compiling and running) under NetBSD. Platforms would be i386 and alpha,
but I would presume this is immaterial.

If anyone has any good resources (asides from the obvious
manuals and documents of the project itself) I'd welcome some links.

    Thanks kindly,
    Dave
