Installing NetBSD 2.1 on a Mac G3 powerbook

Went fine, allthough I got an error when building the filesystem on the
harddisk.

It told me:

"Invalid signature on mbr record 0"

Got to the end of the installation, but when I am going to boot, it won't
boot the system.

I am thinking that perharps the mac is locked so that I can't write to mbr
(like on pc with antivirus enabled in the BIOS). Am I wrong, or am I wrong?
