In NetBSD land, drivers are usually in the kernel. If you plug your
shiny new card in and NetBSD doesn't detected it on boot -- even in some
downgraded "compatibility mode" -- you are generally screwed.
If you want to use L***x plug-in drivers then you want that other newsgroup. ;-)
