Problem compiling php-5

NetBSD 3.0 macppc running on a G4 AGP PowerPC. Here is the error I get when I try to compile php-5:

<snip>
Zend/zend_mm.lo Zend/zend_default_classes.lo Zend/zend_reflection_api.lo Zend/zend_execute.lo sapi/cgi/cgi_main.lo sapi/cgi/getopt.lo main/internal_functions.lo -lcrypt -lcrypt -lssl -lcrypto -lm -lxml2 -lz -lm -lxml2 -lz -lm -lcrypt -lxml2 -lz -lm -lcrypt -o sapi/cgi/php
libtool: link: `TSRM/tsrm_virtual_cwd.lo' is not a valid libtool object
gmake: *** [sapi/cgi/php] Error 1
*** Error code 2

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/lang/php5

<snip>

I've searched the NetBSD mail archives, searched the net, and there isn't much discussed about this problem. I realize it may be more a php problem than NetBSD, but I've not had trouble compiling php-5 on my FreeBSD machines.

Any guidance?

I've got mysql-5 and apache-2 completed, just need this to finish things off. THanks.
