I would like a DVD+/-RW for my home openbsd server
currently running 3.4Beta

OpenBSD emc2srv.emc2.local 3.4 GENERIC#148 i386

My preference was for:

the new Sony DRU-510A

However, I can save a fair bit ($200 Canadian after discounts vs
$450.00 Canadian for the Sony)

by using an LG

LG LCDVRW055 Internal DVD+/-RW Drive.

The offer to save $100.00 expires tomorrow(ie it is $300.00 after
tomorrow, Sept. 4), So my question is:

has anyone made the LG DVD+/-RW work on openbsd?
Is the Sony worth twice as much?

Thanks.
