Do you have brand names? I haven't seen problems but, like you, I
usually use not more than one of these cards. However, the latest
firewall I placed contains 2:
rl0 at pci0 dev 13 function 0 "Realtek 8139" rev 0x10: irq 12 address
00:00:etc
rlphy0 at rl0 phy 0: RTL internal phy
rl1 at pci0 dev 15 function 0 "Realtek 8139" rev 0x10: irq 11 address
00:50:etc
rlphy1 at rl1 phy 0: RTL internal phy
Works without a flaw, AFAIK both are 8139D types.
Needless to say that I only use these in lowcost solutions. I prefer fxp
or xl.
