APC UPS software

I'm trying to configure a box that needs to have shut-down support from an
APC UPS. The problem is that the UPS is supporting another box as well and
only has one link to send the shut-down signal on.

I have heard that it is possible for the 1st box to notify other via TCP/IP
- anyone know if such software is available for OBSD ?

if so where would I get it from ?
