I've googled around, and haven't found anyone with this same problem, which I'm
sure has a simple solution. I'm building a piece of software on my 3.4 machine
[sparc64] which needs gcc-3.2.3 [which I've installed from packages]. Since it
is in a different location than gcc-2.95, how do I get the 'configure' file to
recognize that gcc-3 is there? I've tried variations of 'export CC=gcc-3' ['gcc-
3.2', 'gcc-3.2.3', etc.] and none work.
What am I doing wrong?
