You are correct. I didn't realize until earlier today my misstatement

Apache worked just fine before this. Actually, I'm beginning to suspect
something else. I patched the system between doing things (this isn't a
production system, something I'm developing stuff on in my spare time,
which isn't much). I'm wondering if one the patches messed things up.
I dont' see how. I followed the instructions, but....
