Has anyone succeeded in mounting a (PC-formatted) iPod (in disk mode) via USB?
(I'm running 3.4)

I have the USB adapter. I plug it in and see the following console messages:

umass0 at uhub1 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: Apple iPod USB Interface, rev 2.00/0.00, addr 2
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus1 at umass0: 2 targets
umass_scsi_cb: status cmd failed for scsi op 0x00
sd0 at scsibus1 targ 1 lun 0: <Apple, iPod, 1.50> SCSI0 0/direct removable
sd0: 28610MB, 28610 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sec, 58595040 sec total

That all looks good. Then I try to mount with

mount -r -t msdos /dev/sd0a /mnt

and get

umass_scsi_cb: status cmd failed for scsi op 0x1e

Any clues on how to make this work?

Thanks,
chris
