I'm running 3.5 on a PII 350Mhz which has an integrated soundcard. The
relevent dmesg lines are:
wss1 at isapnp0 "Onboard PnP Audio, CSC0100, , WSS/SB" port
0x534/4,0x388/4,0x220/16 irq 5 drq 1,0: CS4236/CS4236B (vers 0)
audio0 at wss1
joy0 at isapnp0 "Onboard PnP Audio, CSC0101, , GAME" port 0x200/8
"Onboard PnP Audio, CSC0110, , CTRL" at isapnp0 port 0x120/8 not
configured
"Onboard PnP Audio, CSC0103, , MPU" at isapnp0 port 0x330/2 irq 11 not
configured
Now, apparently sound is SORTA configured, because if i do a `cat
audiotest.au > /dev/audio' I can hear sound coming out of the
speakers, but it's garbled.
I'm sure it's somehow possible to get sound working, but I don't know
where to begin looking for info on that for OpenBSD (a few searches
turned up nothing).
