    Hi,
    I am copying my OpenBSD server from one hard drive to another.
    To minimum the down time of the server I want to copy some of the folders in
    multi-user/secure mode first before rebooting into single-user/insecure mode
    (boot -s).

    I've estimated that I can copy the following directories in these following
    modes;
     .cshrc -> multi-user
     .exists -> multi-user
     .profile -> multi-user
     altroot -> multi-user
     bin -> multi-user
     boot -> multi-user
     bsd -> multi-user
     dev -> single user
     etc -> single user
     home -> single user
     mnt -> multi-user
     root -> multi-user
     sbin -> multi-user
     service -> single user
     stand -> single user
     sys -> this is copied with /usr
     tmp -> single user
     usr -> multi-user
     var -> single user

    Can anyone confirm this will work? or make any suggestions as to a better
    way to achieve my objective?

    Many thanks
    SJP
