Nonsense. Broadcast address for 192.168.0.0/24 is 192.168.0.255 except
with the broken TCP/IP stack in Windows.

The actual gateway address could well be aliased to 10.0.0.1 and Windows
would probably use it in preference to the natively configured address of
192.168.0.254. Been there, done that.
