I'm interested in setting up openldap on my local OpenBSD 3.7 box so I
can have a central address book.
I installed the openldap-server-2.2.23.tgz package. (It required the
openldap-client-2.2.23.tgz package as well.)
I also installed the db-4.2.52p2.tgz package.
I recursively copied the /usr/local/share/examples/openldap to
/etc/openldap
I edited the /etc/openldap/slapd.conf and /etc/openldap/ldap.conf files
according to the quick-start directions at www.openldap.org
Now, when I try to start /usr/local/libexec/slapd, I get "Unrecognized
database type (bdb)"
Does anyone know of an openldap howto specific to recent versions of
OpenBSD?
