All,
I just installed OpenBSD 3.7 and I am having the following problem:
If there is no activity on the X display for a few minutes, the
display goes blank and only a white underscore cursor appears in the
upper left corner of the screen. Pressing a key does not bring the
display back. I can't exit from the server with a Ctrl-Alt-Backspace,
nor can I switch to a different virtual terminal. I can find no key
or sequence of keys that has any effect. All I can do is power off.
This happens with both the default fvwm2 window manager and
with gnome-session. The graphics card is an NVIDIA TNT2.
I previously had OpenBSD 3.4 installed on this computer and did not
have this problem. Also, Linux runs on this computer without any
problem.
Any ideas?
Duane
